The Financial Aid Office at St. Catherine University invites applications for a full-time Financial Aid Counselor. 


The Financial Aid Counselor will join a team with long-standing dedication to St. Catherine University and to growing a diverse student body. The Financial Aid Counselor administers and awards federal, state, institutional and private aid to students.


Minimum Qualifications are 

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and institutional financial aid policies and regulations
  • Proficiency with computer mainframes and software programs
  • Desire to provide excellent customer service to St. Catherine community
  • Ability and desire to work with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience working as a collaborative team member
  • Ability to think creatively and analytically to resolve complex problems
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and make independent decisions
  • Ability to meet deadlines and process a high volume of work with great accuracy

  • AND EITHER

Bachelor’s degree
One (1) year of full-time experience working with federal, state, and institutional financial aid policies and regulations
  • OR
High School Diploma or equivalent
Combination of education and financial aid experience to equal five, full-time years
