As part of Pine Technical and Community College’s commitment to student success and ongoing institutional effectiveness, this position is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating retention-based outreach and student success initiatives for a diverse student population, specifically first-generation, low income, and historically underrepresented.
The position will provide academic and financial aid advising to PTCC’s Transfer Pathway programs. In addition, the position oversees college-wide policies and processes that ensure the ease of transfer both to and from Pine Technical and Community College. This position will coordinate and facilitate the various functions as PTCC Veterans Affair School Certifying Officer. Other key functions include the management of transfer and credit for prior learning (CPL) evaluation policies, processes, and procedures. This position provides academic and financial aid advising, training, and process guidance to students, program faculty, counselors and others on matters related to transfer and CPL. This position will work closely with the Registrar function as needed, including but not limited to Degree Audit Reporting System (DARS) maintenance, student registration system edits and campus registration events.
