Summit Academy has an exciting opportunity for a qualified person to join our company in the role of Financial Aid Manager.  This is a very key position for our company and we are looking for a dynamic individual to fill this position.  Financial aid expertise in higher education is a must for anyone to receive serious consideration for this position. 

The Financial Aid Manager is responsible for ensuring that objectives, goals, budgets, policies, practices and actions related to financial aid processes are consistent with Summit Academy OIC’s mission and strategic plan for student success. This position is responsible for managing all financial aid activities in manners consistent with federal, state, local, accreditation and regulatory compliance.

Essential Functions for this Position Include the Following:

Educating adult learners with limited knowledge of college enrollment on financial aid processes and expectations.  

Responsible for presenting financial aid information and processes to prospective students in various settings.

Establish and enforce student guidelines and expectations in regards to student financial aid processes.

Performs the financial aid portion of any federal, state or other audit

Completes reports to state and federal entities.

Processes all student financial aid in a timely manner

Maintains Accurate and thorough documentation of all student financial aid files.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, skills and abilities needed for success in this job include:

Strong financial aid knowledge and experience

Strong communications skills

Strong customer service skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

Ability to motivate a team.

High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and ability to type at least 40 words per minute. 

Financial Aid Manager is a full-time job with a very competitive salary and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life ins., 10 holidays, PTO and 401K with 4% match.
