What Are We Up To?

If you are passionate about financial aid outreach and early awareness, the Outreach Committee is the place for you!

FAFSA Completion Event/Financial Aid Nights

One of the primary ways that MAFAA members serve our communities is to provide a professional presence at FAFSA completion events and financial aid nights.

High school counselors, prospective students, and their parents rely on the MAFAA community to help them navigate through the complicated financial aid process.

School counselors from around the state can use our website to request presenters for FAFSA completion events or financial aid nights.

Statewide College Knowledge and College Goal programs rely on volunteer efforts to college-going campaigns.

MAFAA members, please consider volunteering to serve at these events!

National College Fair

The Outreach committee coordinates the financial aid presence at the National College Fair. MAFAA members serve as financial aid resources at the counseling center booth and provide presentations on financial aid basics.
