    Take the confusion and myths out of financial aid.  Learn key basic information you need to help your students succeed.  

    This training is designed to help professionals outside the financial aid office gain greater knowledge about the FUNdamentals of financial aid.  Come join the FUN and learn more about the process, tips and tricks to smoothly apply for financial aid including FSA ID, DRT and other interesting jargon.  How does the FAFSA turn into a financial aid award, when are exceptions made and what is verification-we'll cover that too!  You will also learn about what are the various financial aid programs students can receive and how do colleges determine what students receive which financial aid fund.  Bring your questions and we will provide the answers!

    MAFAA will be hosting Zachary Goodwin from the Department of Education as our federal trainer. Please check the agenda for more information in regards to the session topics that he will be covering during the conference.

    Conference Registration

    The 2019 Spring Conference registration is now open. Please make sure to select the correct registration type, as well as make your lodging reservations with Madden's on Gull Lake as soon as possible! The conference and lodging reservation deadline is Tuesday, April 9.  

    Conference and banquet attire is business casual.
