MAFAA'S Hot Topics EVENT

Hot Topics will be held virtually from 9am to 11am on February 20, 2025.
Discussion topics will include current events relevant to financial aid:
- 9:00am - NASFAA Inside the Beltway Update (we requested the presentation include what changes may be coming and an outlook for the 2025-2026 award year) presented by Jill Desjean, NASFAA Director of Policy Analysis
- 10:00am - State of Minnesota Update (we requested an update on funding and other challenges for the remainder of 24-25 and what to expect for 25-26) presented by Meghan Flores, MOHE State Financial Aid Manager
- Supporting Undocumented Students - This will not be a live presentation. Link to resources.
