  MAFAA'S FA 102: New Financial Aid Professionals EVENT

  FA 102 will be held virtually from 9am to 2:30pm on March 27, 2025.

  MAFAA is offering a additional training for professionals that are new to financial aid, typically 2 or less years. It is a continuation of FA101. If you did not attend FA 101, you can still attend this event and learn key basic information needed to help students succeed. 

  This event is free to MAFAA member and requires registration to attend.

  The MAFAA 2025 Annual Conference will be held May 7-9, 2025 at Madden's on Gull Lake. 

  Conference registration and lodging reservations are open beginning Wednesday, February 26, 2025. The last day to register is April 4, 2025.
  

  The Professional Development committee is working on a lineup of sessions and speakers including training tracks for State Aid, General Financial Aid, Professional Development/Personal Wellbeing, and Directors. Agenda coming soon.

  Like last year we are also working to offer a pre-conference NASFAA credential session on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 8:00am to 12:00pm. This year's credential topic is Direct Loans. This NASFAA credential training session is offered at no additional cost to conference attendees. You must indicate your planned attendance in this session on your conference registration form and enter your NASFAA ID. You will be granted access to the credential test following the training.

  2. MAFAA EXHIBITOR Full Event (3 days) = $685.00 ($610 Conference Fee + $75 2025-2026 MAFAA Membership)

  3. MAFAA Wednesday One-Day Only Event = $235.00 ($160 Conference Fee + $75 2025-2026 MAFAA Membership)

  4. MAFAA Thursday One-Day Only Event = $235.00 ($160 Conference Fee + $75 2025-2026 MAFAA Membership)

  (NOTE: The 2025-2026 membership year runs from May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026)
